Bidding Process
  1. We can handle all types of projects – small to very large and simple to complex (see "Portfolio")
  2. We will provide budget numbers for upcoming projects in a number of work categories:

    • Steep slope roofing
    • Flat roofing (EPDM)
    • Nailbase installation
    • Architectural sheet metal
    • Siding
    • Light carpentry
  3. We will provide a bid that…
    • is broken down by section.
    • is all inclusive of bidding specifications.
    • includes all required alternates.
    • may offer a few “value engineering” alternates.
    • acknowledges any addendum or prevailing wage requirements.
Pre-Job…
  1. We have a sufficient office staff to submit all requested documents in a timely manner.
  2. We will provide complete submittals and shop drawings as required by the specifications.
  3. We will provide the following docs, as requested:
    • certificate of insurance
    • signed Contract
    • safety information
      1. Please see "safety" for further information on out safety program (our mod rate is .80).
On The Job…
  1. We will have the following documents in the job trailer as well as in our foreman's vehicle:
    • Copy of submittals
    • Copy of sight specific safety plan (designed by WCI)
    • Copy of WCI Safety Manual
    • Copy of contract
    • Copy of installation instructions
  2. One of our 3 project managers assigned to the project, will attend the weekly job meetings.
  3. We will show up to work when we are scheduled, weather permitting.
  4. We will meet expectations of the site supervisor in that:
    • We will adhere to the schedule set forth.
    • We will increase our crew size as required by the pace of the job.
    • We will keep our portion of the jobsite clean at all times.
    • We will communicate and be available to make the project run smooth.
  5. We will adhere to all safety policies set forth by:
    • Wenger Construction, Inc
    • OSHA
    • The general contractor
  6. We have a great group of employees that will work in a high quality professional manner.
After The Job…
  1. We will fulfill all final requirements as set forth in the punch list in a timely manner.
  2. We will provide prompt closeout docs (warranties, as required.
  3. We will submit any final lien waivers, wage rate sheets, or other msc. documents, as requested.
A few other benefits…
  1. We have recently upgraded our metal shop. We now have a shear and an auto-brake. This allows us to make crisp consistent bends. We can fabricate most any profile - including radius bends.
  2. With our experience, we can provide assistance creating specifications for special conditions.
  3. We have the capability of reducing the number of subs that would be needed on a project (siding, sheet metal, roofing, & some carpentry). This also reduces that chance that something was missed or counted twice in these overlapping work types.
  4. We have recently joined isqft and also have a plotter in our office. We can print plans
